Our CNC machining capabilities include:

CNC Milling

We manufacture parts with tighter tolerances and reduced part cycle times by achieving maximum vibration damping to limit friction. Aztalan technicians perform both horizontal and vertical CNC milling services. Many of our machined parts are responsible for advances in medical device capabilities.

CNC Turning

Aztalan operates 14 CNC lathes of varying sizes which can be configured vertically or horizontally depending on the workpiece. Whether your parts are tiny and delicate or immense and bulky, our CNC turning capabilities always achieve the same exacting tolerances.

CNC Swiss Turning

The Tsugami Swiss-Type lathes we operate are ideal for large volume orders and prototype manufacture. Aztalan Swiss turning is used to construct medical products such as oncology instruments, Ventricle Assist Devices (VADs), and Lasik surgery blades.

Soldering & Brazing

Aztalan offers complete manufacturing services for metal products, including soldering and brazing. Our technicians use a full range of fluxes and tools to join brass to brass, brass to stainless steel, stainless steel to stainless steel, and more.

Engineering Support

We share engineering knowledge with our Indiana partners. Aztalan engineers collaborate with designers to finish parts in a timely manner. Products undergo quality control checks and performance tests throughout the manufacturing process to guarantee the final result is built accurately to specifications.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Aztalan uses ultrasonic cleaning to ensure finished parts are ready for assembly. Ultrasonic cleaning offers a complete cleaning solution, even for the smallest parts without causing corrosion or structural damage.

Assembly

If you are unable or reluctant to assemble your finished parts, our team will do it for you! We prepare your parts in an ultrasonic bath and perform a coordinate-measuring quality control check before delivering to your Indiana facility.

CMM Quality Control

Every member of our team is responsible for preserving quality and accuracy. At every step of the manufacturing process your parts are checked with a coordinate-measuring machine (CMM). A non-contact CMM process is used to accurately measure delicate parts without causing damage.
