CNC Vertical Turning

CNC vertical turning holds the workpiece from the bottom and spins it continuously as the tool follows its process. Used mainly for wide, heavier workpieces, Aztalan utilizes top technology and equipment to achieve precise tolerances in every part we manufacture.

CNC Horizontal Turning

One of the more commonly used machines, CNC horizontal turning lathes are primarily used for turning and boring into parts. Our horizontal turning lathes are operating by talented, experienced machinists and technicians who work to meet your parts' exact tolerance specifications.

Our 8 Okuma Twin Spindle Lathes provide up to full 7 axis power, allowing for full part creation on a single machine and higher productivity. The twin-spindle lathes offer greater reliability, speed, and accuracy since the part is finished in a two-step process without operator handling.

CNC Turning Services Using Single Spindle Lathes

Our single-spindle lathes offer super precision turning with live tooling and C-axis. As part of our CNC turning services, these lathes routinely produce turned parts with tolerances of +/- .0002 inches. Our bar capacities are 1 5/8″ – 2 1/2” with a 10” maximum part diameter.
