Aztalan Engineering has (12) CNC lathes with varying capabilities. We have (5) Hardinge single-spindle/single-turret precision lathes and (2) Okuma LR10s are equipped with robotic load/unload arms, 0.1 micron control, dual turrets, and live tooling. We also have (2) Okuma LT10Ms, and (2) Okuma LT200MYs. They greatly reduce cycle times by using dual live tooling turrets in combination with dual spindles. Cutting occurs simultaneously on both spindles. Automatic transfer from spindle A to spindle B allows parts to come off complete. Our capability also includes (1) Tsugami Swiss turn lathe. This machine permits the manufacture of small, complex, precision, high volume parts.
