Aztalan Engineering’s 46,000 sq ft Facility Opens
LAKE MILLS, WI – Jim Brey, Owner of Aztalan Engineering, Inc. was joined by Steve Wilke, Lake Mills City Manager, State Representative Andy Jorgensen (D-Fort Atkinson) and State Representative Peter Barca (D-Kenosha) at a groundbreaking ceremony for the company’s $2.5 million dollar expansion.

“In the face of the greatest economic crisis since the great depression, we as a state must continue to reward those who are creating and maintaining jobs,” Jorgensen said. “As a State Representative, I have been proud to work with Jim and the folks at Aztalan Engineering and I commend their hard work and dedication to providing good paying, family supporting jobs.”
Also on hand was Representative Peter Barca for the ceremony. Rep. Barca is a former Congressman and former Midwest Regional Director for the US Small Business Administration.
“I congratulate the owners, leadership, and staff of Aztalan for their success in guiding the company to an expansion during difficult economic times,” Representative Barca remarked. “We as leaders of the State of Wisconsin applaud their innovation and ability to grow jobs at a time when they are needed the most.”
Aztalan Engineering, Inc. continues to work with Department of Commerce and other state agencies to take full advantage of grants and business incentives available to them.
“I wish Jim and everyone at Aztalan the best of luck as they look to expand their business here in our community,” Jorgensen concluded. “I will continue doing all that I can to encourage small businesses like this one to grow and remain successful for years to come.”
