Our Tsugami Swiss-Type CNC lathes are perfect for machining and micro machining precision parts with complex configurations and profiles in one setup incredibly fast. We are able to reduced cycle-times and eliminate secondary handling through the use of live tooling and sub-spindles. This also provides a good degree of overlapping operation, and makes available within the cycle such processes as completing both ends of the part, inside and out, performing interpolation with live tools, drilling cross holes, performing "Y-axis" milling such as flats, thread milling, and more, all in one setup. We are able to hold very tight tolerances using customary ground barstock and excellent part finishes. Our typical lot size is around 2000 pieces but we are also using these machines effectively for prototyping.
